Vortek systems are available in double purchase (compound) configurations. Vortek hoists utilize compound loft blocks, in configurations that double the lifting capacity of each standard Vortek unit. Vortek double purchase systems are ideal when lifting objects as heavy as 8000 lb. Vortek compound configurations are typically used to lift large electric battens, orchestra shells and ceilings and heavy sets and trusses. Vortek double purchase systems are available in all Vortek Classic and Heavy-Duty hoists.
