This Stylish Touch Panel Is the Perfect Complement to Any Control Solution

AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands – February 3, 2009 – AMX®, the leader in providing simplified solutions in the audio/visual control industry, launches its newest and most compact touch panels - Modero® 4.3" Widescreen Wall/Flush Mount Touch Panels (NXD-430/435). Designed as alternatives to keypads or remotes, the NXD-430/435 measure only 2" deep and are connected with a single Cat5 cable for power and control.

"The new NXD-430/435 models are a great complement to any control solution providing additional user interfaces that are both elegant and affordable," explains Robert Noble, chief technology officer of AMX. "The sleek, contemporary design coupled with PoE technology and a host of installation features will further simplify many of our integrators' installations."

The NXD-430/435 have a sleek, sexy design similar to the award winning 5.2" Modero® ViewPoint® Touch Panel with Intercom (MVP-5200i), delivering power and control at an affordable price. Their design features include a 4.3" 16x9 color display with a screen resolution of (HV) 480x272 (WQVGA). The NXD-430/435 are ultra-thin and can be installed inside two-inch walls with a new mounting system utilizing locking tabs, allowing for a quick and easy installation and perfect for an entry point to home or building automation.

The NXD-430/435 touch panels come with one or five capacitive-touch external buttons. They're available in a high gloss and textured matte combination finish in your choice of black or white. AMX is unveiling the NXD-430/435 at booth number 2C62 at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, February 3-5, 2009. The touch panels will be available in 90 days.
