Located at the heart of Washington DC, next to the U.S. Capitol, the Business Roundtable organization hosts highly strategic quarterly meetings gathering the CEOs of leading U.S companies, experts and top political figures, to discuss pro-business public policy. For these meetings of critical importance, failure is not an option; great care went into the selection of a conference microphone system to facilitate discussions between the business and political powers.

Media Vision has provided TAIDEN Digital Infrared Wireless Conference Systems for two main spaces at Business Roundtable’s HQ. The larger space is a reconfigurable multipurpose room, thus a wireless solution was required to offer flexible setup options. Infrared (instead of RF) was a requirement to guarantee no interference and full confidentiality for these crucial meetings. The placement of infrared transceivers on the ceiling proved challenging as the room has floor to ceiling windows and plenty of structural columns, but the Media Vision’s team together with the architect and installation partner planned a transceiver layout that offers complete, flawless room coverage for all possible room configurations.

For the quarterly meetings, with close to 100 attendees, Media Vision’s Product Specialist offer onsite support. The wireless discussion system is used in smaller room configurations year-round. The main room is a divisible space and room dividing or combining is done through the control system. Units are stored and charged on the Media Vision Charging Cart, offering an easy way to transport the units from room to room.
